Read this first: memecoins and new tokens are extremely volatile, and many go to zero. Only trade money you can afford to lose, and start small while you learn.
1. Sign up through the link
Open axiom.trade/@idk and click sign up. Axiom offers three ways in: email (you'll get a one-time code), Google, or a Phantom wallet. If you use email, you'll also create a password.

2. Save your recovery phrase
During sign-up Axiom shows you a secret recovery phrase (seed phrase). It's the master key to your wallets. Write it down offline and keep it private. You can view it again later in your settings.
- Never share it with anyone, including anyone claiming to be Axiom support.
- Axiom recommends also importing the phrase into a standard wallet such as Phantom, Rabby or Solflare, so you always have direct access to your funds.
Axiom describes its wallet as non-custodial, with keys secured through its infrastructure partner Turnkey. That means the funds are yours, and so is the job of protecting the phrase.
3. Add funds
You have two options in Axiom's docs:
- Deposit crypto to the wallet address Axiom shows you. For Solana that means sending SOL.
- Buy crypto in the app through Axiom's Coinbase integration: up to $500 per week without KYC, from the deposit menu.
Send on the right network. Each chain has its own balance. Sending a coin over the wrong network can lose it. See Axiom chains for how this works.

4. Check your trade settings
Before your first trade, open the settings panel and look at three things:
- Priority fee: extra paid to validators for faster confirmation.
- Slippage: the most the price can move against you before the trade cancels. Lower is safer; very high values let a trade fill at a much worse price.
- MEV protection: helps stop bots from front-running your buys. Axiom offers Off, Reduced and Secure, and recommends Secure whenever possible.
Axiom suggests a priority fee and bribe based on current network activity, which is a sensible starting point. The fees guide explains which of these costs go to Axiom and which don't.

5. Place your first trade
- Search for a token by its ticker or paste its contract address. The contract address is the safer choice, because many tokens copy popular names.
- Check the token's market cap, volume and liquidity on its page.
- Type the amount of SOL to spend and click Buy.
- Your position, amount bought and sold, and current balance show up in Axiom. You can also set limit orders to buy or sell at a chosen price.
To browse new tokens, Axiom has Pulse (new pairs, tokens close to migrating, and just-migrated tokens) and a Trending page. Axiom's own docs warn that not all high-volume tokens are genuine, because some volume is wash trading.

6. Stay safe
- Bookmark the real site. Axiom's terminal lives at axiom.trade and its docs at docs.axiom.trade. Check the address before you log in.
- Support is only in tickets. Axiom handles support through private tickets in its Discord and warns that scammers impersonate support in DMs. Ignore anyone who messages you first.
- Never share your recovery phrase or private key. No real support agent will ask for it.
- Start small and expect to lose some trades. Fast tokens can drop to zero in minutes.
- Be careful with leverage. Perps on Axiom allow up to 50x, and leverage magnifies losses.
