The Axiom trading fee
Axiom charges a platform fee on each trade you make in the terminal. Its documentation describes this fee as starting at 1%, then adjusted for user discounts and promotions.
On top of that, every trade earns cashback paid in SOL. How much depends on your multiplier tier, and your multiplier goes up as your total trading volume on Axiom grows. Axiom's fee table lists a net fee and a cashback rate for each tier:
| Tier | Multiplier | Net fee | Cashback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wood | 1X | 0.95% | 0.05% |
| Bronze | 2X | 0.90% | 0.10% |
| Silver | 2.5X | 0.875% | 0.125% |
| Gold | 3X | 0.85% | 0.15% |
| Platinum | 3.5X | 0.825% | 0.175% |
| Diamond | 4X | 0.80% | 0.20% |
| Champion | 5X | 0.75% | 0.25% |

The 10% sign-up discount
Axiom's docs say that users who sign up through a link like this one receive a 10% discount on trading fees, and that you then "automatically pay 10% less". There is no code to type: you open the link, create your account from that page, and trade as usual.
What the docs don't spell out: exactly how the 10% combines with the cashback tiers above, and whether it applies the same way on every chain. Check your trade details in Axiom if you want the exact figure for a specific trade.

Worked example (hypothetical)
These numbers are made up to show the math. They use Axiom's 1% starting fee rate and ignore cashback and network costs.
| Trading volume | Fee at 1% | With 10% off | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| $500 | $5.00 | $4.50 | $0.50 |
| $1,000 | $10.00 | $9.00 | $1.00 |
| $10,000 | $100.00 | $90.00 | $10.00 |
| $50,000 | $500.00 | $450.00 | $50.00 |
If you trade often, volume adds up quickly, and the saving grows with it.
Fee savings calculator
Estimate what Axiom's documented 1% starting fee costs on a monthly volume, versus the same volume with the documented 10% sign-up discount (0.9%). These are estimates only: they ignore volume-tier cashback, network costs, pool fees and any other promotions. Enter numbers in any currency unit you like — the math is percentage-based.
Costs that are not Axiom's fee
Some costs on a trade go to the network or the pool, not to Axiom, so the discount doesn't touch them:
- Priority fee: an optional extra paid to validators for faster confirmation when the network is busy. Axiom's Solana settings show a default of 0.001.
- Bribe / MEV protection: an extra tip that helps protect buys from sandwich bots. Axiom offers Off, Reduced and Secure modes and recommends Secure whenever possible.
- Slippage: not a fee, but the gap between the price you expect and the price you get. A lower limit protects you; a higher one fails fewer trades on fast-moving tokens.
- Pool and launchpad fees: the liquidity pool or launch platform a token trades on can charge its own fee.
Axiom says it calculates a recommended priority fee and bribe from current network activity, so beginners can start from its suggestions.

Perpetuals fees
Axiom also lets you trade perpetual futures through Hyperliquid. Its docs say Axiom takes 0.01% per transaction on perps and allows up to 50x leverage.
Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. Axiom's own docs warn that many traders lose everything by over-leveraging.
