Fees

Axiom: docs describe a platform fee starting at 1%, then adjusted for discounts and promotions, with volume tiers that list net fees down to 0.75% plus SOL cashback. Users who sign up through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees.

Photon: the SOL fees page says Photon fees are 1% of the initial amount on every buy and sell, collected in SOL. The ETH fees page describes the same 1% structure for Photon on Ethereum. Wallet-to-wallet transfers are described as not charged.

Neither product's docs on these pages spell out how network priority fees or pool fees interact with the platform fee for every case — those can still apply on-chain.

Chains

Axiom docs name Solana, BSC/BNB Chain and Ethereum for rewards/referrals. The in-app selector has also listed additional networks; see the chains guide.

Photon documents separate products for Solana and Ethereum.

Key features (from docs)

  • Axiom: Pulse discovery, TradingView charts, wallet tracker, Twitter monitor, limit orders, instant trade / hotkeys, perps via Hyperliquid (Axiom fee 0.01% per transaction per docs).
  • Photon: live pairs feed, trending, Memescope, multi-wallet, limit orders, DCA orders, Smart-MEV protection (from Photon's docs index).

Who each is best for

  • Axiom if you want a multi-chain web terminal with a documented referral fee discount and a published volume/cashback ladder.
  • Photon if you want a SOL- or ETH-focused terminal with a simple flat 1% platform fee and Photon's Memescope / DCA tooling.

Verdict

On documented platform fees alone, both start around 1% per trade. Axiom's docs add a clear 10% referral discount and volume cashback tiers; Photon's fees pages document a flat 1% without a matching discount section. Pick Axiom for the discount + cashback ladder (and wider chain surface in the app); pick Photon for a straightforward SOL/ETH Photon workflow.
